About the Auctioneer

Troy Robinett is the 2014 Texas State Champion Auctioneer. A first generation auctioneer, Troy is a graduate of the Missouri Auction School, Professional Ringmen’s Institute and the Benefit Auction Specialist Course. Troy is currently serving as president  for the Texas Auctioneers Association.

Troy grew up in Missouri going to auctions with his father and grandfather. At a young age, he enjoyed the sights and sounds of the auction process. It wasn’t until Troy moved to Texas that he became interested in pursuing a career as an auctioneer. Since graduating from auction school in 2009, Troy has been in the auction industry full time providing auctioneering and ringman services to industry leaders, including Richie Brothers, Manheim Auto Auction, Superior Livestock Auction and Fasig-Tipton.

During the week, Troy works wholesale auto auctions. On the weekends he auctioneers and manages purebred livestock auctions, as well as conducting farm and ranch and heavy equipment sales, and benefit auctions across the United States.

Troy has a passion for the auction business. He believes there is no greater form of marketing than the auction method of marketing!
